This website uses no cookies, shows no advertising and does not follow you across other sites.

What we count

So that we know how many people visit the site, we keep a simple counter on our own server. Each visit records:

• the date and time of the visit
• which page was opened and in which language
• which site you came from, the domain name only
• the time zone of your device, as a rough guess at the country
• whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a computer

What we do not keep

Your IP address is never stored. All that is derived from it is a code that changes every night and cannot be reversed. It exists only so that the same person counts once per day. No name, no address, no profile.

If your browser sends the Do Not Track setting, we do not count you at all.

The numbers collected stay on our own server and are not passed to anyone else.

Images, fonts and video

All images, fonts and the video are loaded from our own server. No external font service is used and there are no social media buttons that track you.

The Google map

The visit section contains an embedded Google map. It only loads once you scroll down to it. At that moment your browser connects to Google and Google can see your IP address. If you would rather avoid that, do not scroll to the map and use the address from the contact details instead.

Links to other sites

The site links to Tripadvisor, Google, Facebook and Instagram. What happens there is covered by their rules, not ours.
